Current Lab Members

Kristel Joy Yee Mon, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate

Dr. Yee Mon is working on identifying a T cell biomarker for COVID-19 immunity. She is also testing novel adjuvant combinations to enhance dendritic cell priming of anti-tumor cytotoxic T cells as a prospective cancer immunotherapy.

Chongbo “Bob” Yang, BMSc, MD
Post-Doctoral Associate

Dr. Yang is utilizing several mouse models to investigate how different programs of cell death in the intestinal epithelium impact cellular turnover, tissue repair, and intestinal homeostasis.

Atimukta Jha, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate

Dr. Jha studies the cell biology and regulation of endocytic antigen cross-presentation by dendritic cells. She is also establishing novel models to study noncanonical cross-presentation against viruses that impair CD8 T cell immunity.

Yuhua Shi, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate

Dr. Shi studies the biology and function of inflammatory caspases in tissue. She also works on the human inflammasome response to vita-PAMPs to inform the discovery of novel adjuvant combinations.

Amandine Aka, PhD
Post-doctoral Associate

Dr. Aka is working to understand the role of tissue resident macrophages in the premalignant stages of cancer.

John “Jack” H. Ralls, BA Chemistry Concentration in Biochemistry, Minor in Ancient Studies
Graduate Student

Jack Ralls is characterizing the innate immune response to a panel of inflammasome agonist proteins, and testing methods for their exploitation as adjuvants and tumor microenvironment modulators.

Dylan Roycroft, BS Chemistry & Biology, MS Immunology
